Hosts with AMD Duron processors might not be able to power on virtual machines. This problem resulted because Duron processors that are based on Athlon do not have Intel SSE (Streaming SIMD Extensions). (bug 183866) Ubuntu 7.04 virtual machines sometimes power off unexpectedly if paravirtual kernel support is enabled. (bug 190499)

Copy the Folders of two CDs Together in a folder. Use MagicISO or UltraIso or IsoBuster or Something like that to creat a bootable ISO from your Win XP.
Then Write it to a DVD.

I'm using Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 and it's much more better than this vmware 6.x crap!!
If you want to use Microsoft OSs as guest system(In virtual Machine) better to use Microsoft Virtual PC 2007...smaller, faster, need less Ram and well they're all from MS at last!!

Why is it so ridiculously huge? Version 5 was just under a hundred megs and this is just over three hundred.

It's huge because there has lots of Operating Systems to support. Virtual PC 2007 from M$ is a BIG crap.. it can't be compared to VMware workstation not even close. If you want free software try VMware Server.. it's free but it's a bit slower than the workstation(but even the Server version it's faster than Virtual PC 2007!!) - Soon I will put the VMware Workstation v6.0.2 build 59824 which is the latest to rapidshare and some other upload sites - Have a nice day

Does this allow you to virtually run a MAC OS on a Windows machine? or is it just Linux and other Window versions?
