Style XP is not a skinning engine. It uses Microsoft's built-in visual style engine, but enhances it by providing many useful tools. Style XP can import, select, rotate, and manage themes, visual styles, wallpapers, logons, bootscreens, icons, cursors and explorer bar. Future versions may support sounds, screensavers, and packages of all the above. How does it work? Instead of lines and gradients, the XP user interface natively supports the use of skinned bitmap controls (a visual style). This is Microsoft's own innovation. Style XP includes its own visual styles. Style XP is supports Windows XP, Windows XP Service Pack 1 and 2, Tablet PC, or Server 2003.

have been looking everywhere for a place to request help in registering two programs which are about to expire on me...Since, the last post regarded something wholly different, perhaps you wont mind....

One, I have 3 days left to register, is called Icon Lover v4.15....

The other, I still have 20 days, but I have a hunch that this one will be harder to patch: Changer XP v1.04....

I would greatly appreciate any help with either ( or both!) of these...!

guys im havng some problem sending it to your emails...everytime i sent it theres a reply that said an failed sending the mail,its something like mailer daemon...

ilovemac thats because most applications will leave some files during uninstallation,mostly in the registry and some in the program files...that maybe the cause of still you cant make it register..try to find those files...

@benju17: Those are some fine programs! Unfortunately they didn't work, hehe. I uninstalled stylexp, deleted every single unused and invalid entry in the registry and every cookie I found, and still the damn thing won't work...

ilovemac try to install style xp that you downloaded here then try to put the key without any internet connection..but i think it does not even require an internet connection when you unlock it..just try it..if its still not going to work, i think you need to reformat your os if you really want style xp on your pc..i really think its something in the registry that unables you to register it.

I tried once again :D. This time I deleted every single file related to styleXP, every single unuseful file in the registry, and I even registered without internet connection. It didn't work. But what are hotfix uninstallers? I didn't dare to delete them... Could they've got something to do with my problems... I guess not, but who knows..
