Duh....Deesnt anyone read? 9136 is for the quadro cards only as per the Nvidia site. Maybe it will work on other cards, but not so according to Nvidia.

Read the release notes for 9136 on the Nvidia site. Products supported are ONLY the Quadro cards! Other cards may work with this driver but they wont be able to take advantage of this drivers capabilities. cjsniper...no..the 5200 board is NOT supported. The 5200 cannot take advantage of the PureVidio, Inverse Telecine and other functions. You have to have at least a 6600 or higher board for these functions. Aloha, tia :)
But the thing is my VGA is much faster than b4 when i update with this utility,Extreme thnx 4 all of You.....keep it up..Does anybody have Creative Value new upgraded Driver collection ?????

Does PureVideo use less CPU than Mplayers 0% yet? LOL

Got a very nasty thing here :
2 identical PC desktops idem software
1 of them I did update nividia in a minute or 2
second one , the nividia installation always crashes ( monitor simply goes blank before ending the installation and PC restarts , windows logo appears but crashes and PC restarts and ..... unlimitted )
restarted damn thing safe mode , uninstall driver , reinstall -> same thing , use other new driver -> same thing
had to reinstall existing driver ( but even that also took more then 3 hours before it was reinstalled , also there problems untill suddenly how or what ( don´t know ) it was there again.
Have to install newer driver since the original one ( working fine ) gives a problem with after effects 7 eating 50 % CPU power when doing nothing ( which dissapeared after succesfull updating nvidia driver on an identical PC desktop ).
Pfft....

this is 4 quadro 91.31 is latest 4 G-force! bungholes
I agree with gigglers post (well except the bunghole part-no need to insult. He is quite correct 91.31 is the most current for new and older boards 91.36 is indeed intended for quadro, and 91.45 is quad sli. We really do need to be mindfull of the posts. There are many people that love and use this site. Lets post the correct information "AND ITS "INTENDED USE"!" People installing drivers intended for other cards will probably work "IN MOST CASES BUT CERTAINLY NOT ALL" Invidia has always made driver architecture backwords compatable, hence 91.36 will work on most older non quadro vid cards but the support to the card will not be correct IT IS MEANT FOR QUADRO CARDS AND THERE SUPPORT AND IS NOT THE LATEST FOR ALL NVIDIA!! SAME APPLYS TO 91.45!! Nothing is meant to insult anyone here but info NEEDS TO BE CORRECT. "Otherwise we end up causing problems for others.
Thanks, Souls

For those who say these are for 'Quadro', yes, thats what the release notes say. BUT they work with other GeForce cards as well, you may need to modify the INF file and put your cards ID on it if its not there.
For anyone with experience with Nvidia drivers, this is done all the time, and such drivers are used/modded by many people despite what the 'official release' says, and often with great results.
I'm using the 91.45. The official release notes says its for the GF7950 card. Just added my cards ID to the INF and this has become one of the best drivers I've used.

Another HINT.There is no use for a WDM Driver for Nvidia GPU's if the VGA is Not Vivo Enabled.
Vivo Enabled Means(=) Video In And Video Out Enabled= (CAN CAPTURE ANALOUGE SIGNALS PLUGGED IN TO THE CARD).
Also the WDM Makes a Noticable Slowness of the System Boot Time.
HINT2=ALWAYS REMOVE OLD NVIDIA DRIVERS FROM CONTROL PANNEL AND RESTART SO THE SYTEM CAN COME BACK AT MINNIMUM RESOLUTION AND RECOGNISE AN UNKNOWN VGA BEFORE INSTALLING ANY NEW FORCEWARE OR SIMILAR THEN RESTART AGAIN TO GAIN FULL CONTROLLS.
EVEN CHECK PROGRAM FILES FOR ANY OLD FOLDERS FROM OTHER VENDORS E.G. ati (YUCK) FOR ONBOARD VGA DRIVERS AND REMOVE.
BYE AGAIN AND ENJOY YOURE GRAPHICS PROPERLY.
