It's the biggest resource hog and is well-known for causing the most performance-lagging issues with PCs it's installed on. *Hopefully* the new version isn't as focused on GUI/big shiny buttons and isn't as bloated. If it is, just leave it in the dirt where it belongs. NOD32, Kaspersky and BitDefender are the top three anti-virus solutions. NOD32 and Kaspersky are well known for their low memory usage and high performance and advanced features.

I wouldn't say that norton is the biggest resource user anymore. If you have tried Trend Mirco 2007 beta, it uses around 200mb worth of memory when running normally (not scanning)

yo greo que norton apesta casper es el mejor kasper me detecto 15 virus que norton no y aparte recuerden que la ultima ves que salio y todo mundo lo instalo no lo podian desinstalar el que lo instale y le pase eso me la curo por el kasper es el mejor antivirus

Hmm Kaspersky have releaes betas in last week or so, I still dont know if CHKDSK bug is fixed (go read the offical forums) for KIS 2006.
Norton 2007 seems to use little resources (for me less than Nod32 and that was complete NIS 2007) so try it or you cant comment, I know fine all previous builds slowed down a PC, Ive tried them all from 2001 till 2007 beta but then again any AV will slow it down more so than not having any AV.

Is ZoneAlarm Security Suite 6.5 any good than Norton?? Does Norton Provide a powerful firewall than Norton??
I have heard that Zonealarm provides the #1 firewall amongst all the antivirus, is it so??

advantage:- very light on system; excellent heuristic engine; frequent virus defination updates in small packages.
disadvantage:- no integrated firewall; interface aimed at advance users

Yeah, bitdefender is the best! Sure, if you are obsessed with virus, if you are a computer novice or if someone who uses your is, or if you are a leet wannabe. Fortunately there are lots of av programs, go check some reviews and wich program fits best to you and your needs, dont monopolize this!

NOD32 IS VERY GOOD. DON'T USE NORTON. AFTER USING NORTON MY PC GETS BOOT IN 25-26 SECONDS INSTEAD OF 15 SECONDS. ZONE ALARM INTERNET SECURITY IS ALSO VERY GOOD FOR INTERNET SECURITY. BUT, IT'S ANTIVIRUS IS NOT GOOD. USE NOD32 & ZONE ALARM TOGETHER. IT WORKS GREAT. {INFOAPS}

I have norton anti virus 2007 keyage. BUT i dun know how to activa the product key i mean that when u install norton anti virus 2007 they will ask u for the product key right ?
Then i type in the product key it works !
But i install the norton anti virus they will ask u need to activa this porduct in 15 DAYS or the norton anti virus 2007 will stop working when i use the keyage i dun know how to activa the second product key ???
