maybe 20 % if u have luck, of all proxies are really anonymouse! see by self if u are anonym or the proxy send your forwarder "real ip" info with it: http://ipid.shat.net/
The only way will be to host a own cgi proxy (password protectet access) or doing a abo of one of these Anonymouse proxy services per monthly bill ifu wanna be 4 sure.

I have an update to my previous post about this software. I tried Hide IP Platinum v3.1 on a total of 3 other machines and it would not work on any of them. I got the same deal. Hide IP Platinum would say that another server was being used something like China, Taiwan or Korea etc..... but after looking up the info on an IP locator webpage it was the same story it showed my actual IP address. I tried more than one also I tried the one that TT4U recommended and the same deal no Hide IP server that was supposed to be getting used was working. If you are using Hide IP Platinum v3.1 you need to make sure your software if working ok or you might be posting your actual IP while surfing or downloading. I went back to v2.91 and it works as it should.

It's not a program malfunction....it's just that it isn't a good program....some times it uses an anonymous proxy sometimes it uses a gateway and sometimes a non-anonymus proxy....so i change the proxy again and again until i find and anonymous..usually a china proxy always works

The best thing to do is find your own proxys....use Automated Proxy Leecher and Charon or Proxyrama..

I have problem in updating after installing 3.1. Now I am back to 2.91 and it works well, the only catch is the word unregister will show on v2.91..

I gave v3.1 a try again and followed the advise of ZrEkArC but I had no luck none worth keeping the software installed anyways. It took me 12 count em 12 proxy changes before I got another proxy IP address that was not broadcasting as my own. I find this a joke. I had absolutely zero problems out of the v2.91 so I went back to it. It only makes sencs to use software that is not buggy and to wait for another Hide IP Platinum release. I must say after my own experiences with v3.1 that it is buggy bad buggy! After trying v3.1 it makes me wonder if the folks at Hide IP are going to try and compete with Microsoft as far as releasing software that is far from a final version that is ready to replace a solid version. I gotta say again wait for another update from Hide IP before you drop what you are currently using. Or hey install it and post what problems you may or may not have just so the rest of us know what else may be wrong with it.
