Why would you wait for an Alpha version? Alpha is before Beta, meaning that it would be LESS stable and have MORE bugs? When a software engineer creates software, usually the initial testing release is an Alpha release which later becomes a Beta release. Then after a few RC's or Release Candidates, a final version is released. However, DAP appears to be forever in beta testing so waiting for a final release would be pointless.

The best is Internet Download Manager. The second is NetTransport
and the third is FlashGet patched, because not patched is spiware too.
This is very bad and spyware.

There is a difference between spyware and adware and for me DAP is
better on raw speed but does not have some capabilities of Reget &
FG
