The web site is unclear. There are older drivers on the AMD website that specify for use with "Cool n Quiet" and then AMD lists these newer drivers that really do not say either way.
Does anyone know for sure if these are suitable for use on an AMD Cool n Quiet MB?
AND, is this for Updating existing drivers or for a new install only?
I am now using version 1.3.0 of this driver for my amd64 3000+(oc 245*9),in the windows xp(sp2) Power Options, select Power Schema as "Minimal Power Management",the CPU will work as 245*5 when not busy. Remember open the Cool n Quiet on mainboard bios settings.
